In 2004, we formed The Jody Young Foundation to carry forward the legacy of one of our founding employees, Jody Young. The Foundation supports the philanthropic and volunteerism efforts of Skywire Software employees, families and surrounding communities.
Jody exemplified everything that we look for in an employee. He consistently honored his commitments to customers, he showed his integrity with his unique style and sense of humor, and he was extremely generous with his time and knowledge, always helping his fellow peers and never withholding anything he thought would be helpful.
Jody contributed to the early success that Skywire Software achieved with his ability to quickly solve problems – even if it meant learning a new skill – and return with an insightful, amusing and always accurate assessment of the situation. The rest of us learned a great deal from Jody that we carry with us to this day. A joy to work with, a pleasure to be around and an inspiration to us all, Jody is greatly missed.
Forever touched by his untimely death, we strive to make our volunteerism a true reflection of how Jody lived his life.
