SUMMARY OF PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Account Manager professionally represents Skywire Software within our existing client
Base and throughout the verticals we serve. This individual will work closely
With Director of Professional Services Sales and the Sales Executive assigned to each
client account to implement an account strategy to ensure customer satisfaction
and drive additional software and services revenue. The Account Manager must
understand and be able to articulate all software and services offerings to clients
and identify new opportunities. This person must successfully secure and maintain
beneficial day-to-day relationships within named accounts to identify new client
initiatives and priorities.
The Account Manager will also act as the client advocate within Skywire Software
to ensure the client’s needs are represented to all levels/departments within Skywire
Software including Product Development, Professional Services, Product Management,
Sales, Marketing, Legal and Executive Management. The Account Manager will
Play a fundamental role during active service engagements to ensure all areas within
Skywire Software are proactively working together to deliver the best possible service

cold calling and related lead generation activities, as well as developing and fostering

The Account Executive will be responsible for following-up on leads, pre-qualifying potential sales opportunities, creating new opportunities through cold calling and related lead generation activities, as well as developing and fostering strong relationships with all existing customers, or as directed by the Senior Vice President of Sales. The Account Executive must possess an outgoing personality, be results- oriented, act at all times as a team player, and be willing to aggressively pursue success as an individual, a team, and as the Skywire organization as a whole. The candidate must work closely with other Skywire Account Executives, and particularly those supporting complementary life insurance technology offerings, i.e. the Insurance Data Exchange (IDX). Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: The Account Executive will be responsible for playing a key role in supporting the ongoing achievement of aggressive sales goals, and will be compensated accordingly and, therefore, must be a highly-motivated, self-starting individual. - Follow-up on GA sales leads
- Cold calling prospective customers in an effort to uncover and pre-qualify new GA AMS sales opportunities
- Maintain customer and partner relationships
- Keep Salesforce CRM system updated with all activity
- Account Management of all existing GA customer accounts
- Grow existing business in account
- Sales reporting
- Supporting efforts of sales team as directed by Senior Vice President, Sales
- Proposal and pricing development
- Marketing support for trade shows, user groups, and events
- Participating in Sales calls and presentations
- Other duties as assigned by Management
- Available to travel and be available by cell phone and email as required.
REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE: Candidate must have the following skills: - Candidate must be results-oriented with a proven track record of success
- Life Insurance and/or Insurance Industry experience required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and solid time management skills
- Executive-level presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Outgoing personality with ability to ensure a solid customer-facing experience
- Highly motivated, dedicated, and committed to individual, team and organizational success
- Willingness to be available by telephone and/or email on evenings or weekends as required
- Ability to travel frequently to existing and perspective account locations throughout the US
- Ability to work industry trade shows, conferences and user groups
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Sales Management, Marketing or a related field
- A minimum of 7+ years applicable customer-facing experience preferred
- Experience working with insurance agencies a plus
- Candidate interest and aptitude in a longer-term career in complex software and/or services sales preferred
- Ability to interact effectively with other departments and clients
- Results oriented with the capability to multi-task independently
- Good problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to function effectively as a team member
- Ability to handle pressure or stress in a confident, professional manner
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel and be available by cell phone and/or email as required
